Tasting note: It was a long wait for a vintage so balanced and yielding such excellent grapes, but when it came in 2013 we were able to make one of the world’s most delicious noble sweet wines once again. Fresh aromas, slight basil-thyme green herbiness with some honey and floweriness. Real vibrancy on the palate, the acids override the sweetness. Candied orange and pistachio on the palate; sage, clove, basil and dried fig notes on the nose. The zesty acidity makes the wine fresh and easy to drink, guaranteeing huge ageing potential.
