Füleky Tokaji Hárslevelű, Úrágya vineyard, Mád village, 2020

Hárslevelű is the second most popular grape veriety in Tokaj region after the more acidic Furmint, which is one of its parents. It’s an aromatic and delicately spicy grape that enriches many blends: estate wines, late harvests and the world-famous Tokaji aszú.

Tasting note: Linden flowers and honey appear quite intensely on the nose. Beautifully dry, good acidity, serious alcohol and body, high level of balance, complexity of flavours, subtle minerality, lots of everything in it but nothing overpowering. The tannin sticks out slightly but this will change with time. Long, deep, substantial finish.
