Excessive selections have made this wine possible. New clones collected from 100-year-old vineyards all over Hungary, propagation of the best, very selective hand harvest, separate vinification of 15 lots. We work with Kadarka with a unique approach, aiming for an early harvest to show the crispy freshness of the grapes.

Kadarka is an ancient red variety of Hungary, once grown on 60% of the country. Today, it’s below 1%, thanks to its heterogenity and very high susceptibility to Botrytis. A handful of growers take the variety seriously and are working on creating expressive, unique Kadarka wines.
