Lajver Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Edition, 2017

This Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Edition 2017 is Lajver’s top-of-the-range wine. Made from handpicked grapes coming from the best vineyard. Produced only in exceptionally good vintages. After the separate small batch alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, it was aged for 12 months in 225-liter French oak barrels with medium toasting. The final “blend” was made from the best lots. In May 2019, 1179 bottles were bottled. This is a wine with a long aging potential, silky tannins and remarkable acidity. The sophisticated nose displays cooked plum and dark berries, with elegant oak aromas and sweet spices.
