Olaszrizling, one of Hungary’s flagship white varietals finds its true home around Lake Balaton. This olaszrizling comes from a lesser known region of the Balatonfüred-Csopak appellation that is now being rediscovered. Typified by beds of dolomitic limestone and clay, this terroir has yielded an olaszrizling that is firm with broad acidity, crushed stone and classic, mildly toasted almond notes.
