Penke Pinot Gris, 2016

A single vineyard Pinot Gris. The perfect timing of the harvest has helped to put in relief the key characteristics of Pinot Gris in this unique terroir. The intensive limestone and minerality base is complemented by green and yellow apples, white nectarine and peaches. The palate is made even more complex by the secondary aromas of Hungarian barrels adding elegant smokiness, nutty and buttery creaminess. Full and round with well-structured acidity and a persistent finish. Great with roasted chicken breast prepared with thyme and onion.
