Somlói Top Selection Apátsági Furmint, 2015

Furmint is the best-known Hungarian variety. The grapes come from an outstanding vineyard. With strict yield control Furmint is capable of showing a very rich aroma palette, the ageing potential adds further to the excitement. Lavender, dried fruit and overripe tone dominate the nose. The typical aromas of oak ageing are combined with a distinct minerality, followed by ripe fruit, apple, pear and good acidity adding zest to the wine.
