Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos, 2017

An outstanding example of the Pajzos Aszú style: the relatively high acidity is balanced with the residual sugar content that gives elegance and harmony. It offers lovely and intense apricot, sweet spices, tropical fruits and honey aromas. Good concentration of apricot, quince, chestnuts, white truffle and mild spices. The substantial sweetness is balanced by a bright freshness. An elegant wine promising greatness with a remarkable ageing potential.

Perfect to drink in itself, as an aperitif or to accompany meals. Try it with the classic pairing – Foie Gras, walnut and blue cheese – or with a specialty, like saffron risotto or crispy, roasted pork knuckles with noisette potatoes. Also highly recommend with Tarte Tatin or carrot walnut cake.
