Top Apátsági Furmint, 2012

Furmint is one of Somlo’s most valuable varieties. The grapes for TOP Selection were picked and carefully selected from low yield vines. This wine has a long way to go and will continue to evolve for many years. Besides the subtle toasted oak notes the nose shows the variety’s typical minerality and fruit character. Promising a great future the palate is full bodied, dense and creamy and displays ripe fruit flavors. It is already a great wine, but will show its true colours with additional bottle aging.
