Do you want to spice up your wine list with something new and original? Hungary offers a wide range of unique varieties, exciting wine styles and stories waiting to be explored. Starting with lithe, fragrant whites, this journey will take you to the two most important Hungarian white varieties, Olaszrizling and Furmint and conclude with a truly individual red, Kadarka that was only recently brought back from the brink of extinction, and Kékfrankos. Caroline Gilby MW, an acclaimed specialist of Central and Eastern European wines will present a line-up from local grape varieties, all of them ticking the right boxes.

Dr Caroline Gilby MW is a widely published wine writer, award-winning author and consultant specialising in the wines of Central and Eastern Europe.
