Bodrog Borműhely Lapis Furmint, 2019

This Furmint clone is a local autochthon variety with small clusters, good sugar accumulation and a very complex structure of acidity, often with neutral character. But the rich volcanic (rhyolite tuff) soil of the Lapis overrides these characteristics and makes this wine full mineral, rich and long. It was barrel fermented and barrel aged. A noble vintage.
